This may be my favorite gemstone. Difficult to say, cause I like so many, but Morganite has a special place in my heart.

It's also called the gemstone of love.

It's a variety of Beryl (the same mineral family as Aquamarine, Emerald & Heliodor).

It's soft pink, sometimes more pink, sometimes more peach. Its color is very soft, but the gem itself is quite hard.

I think it's a great option for an engagement ring!

I found some in Bangkok and finally used one for this ring (still have some left if you want me to make you something ;)).

I wanted a clean design, but couldn't resist adding a few drops.

This would be such a beautiful proposal ring ✨❤️

Marquise cut Morganite & 14kt yellow gold

I also added a few pictures for inspiration on how to stack this piece ;)

With a clean band, an eternity ring or a V-shaped ring next to it, it would make the perfect bridal set.

So, who loves Morganite?

Find me here most days, in my studio/shop, surrounded by gold, silver, colorful gemstones and probably way too many ideas at once. Every Izao piece is made by hand in my Rotterdam atelier, so no mass production and no identical pieces. Just unique jewelry with character.

You can shop Izao online, but there’s much more to discover in the atelier. Come try things on, mix metals, play with colors and combinations, and see what actually feels like you.

Looking for something personal? I can make that too. A birthday gift, something special for Christmas, a piece made with your birthstone, or a completely new piece made from old or inherited gold you already have.

And with Christmas getting closer: if you want to give something that definitely didn’t come off a conveyor belt, now is a good time to start ♡

Come by, have a look around & play with jewelry.

See you soon!

Nastasia ❤️

The October piece is here!
Something a little different but it feels 100% Izao.
Made from gold with a minty Tourmaline. One of a kind, fine yet bold... Very organic, few drops... What do you think? I love it, and if nobody buys it I could end up keeping it 🤭
I don't have many fingers left for rings though....

September is coming to an end and I still lwed you

September is coming to an end and I still lwed you a September piece.
I brought this beautiful Sapphire back from my trip in Thailand! A pear cut 1ct gem, deep blue, very shiny...
I immediately knew I wanted to create a kind of wave for this stone. I like pear cut gems but they have a very classic look, and you know, I love classic with a twist.
So there it is, this months piece!
I brought more Sapphires if you are interested in the September gem. They are all unique though;)

And lookm at the last slide, how it perfectly matches my princess diamond ring ;)
This is a match made in heaven!

Imagine, it's your birthday and you get this set for a present 😱
Then you hear he (your husband) came many times to the shop to choose the prettiest ring he could find.
There was a set he liked, but he wanted to make it more personal. So he decided to go for Peridot, her birthstone and a prasiolite (a.k.a green amethyst, a.k.a February birthstone as their 3 kids). A mix of greens and 2 little diamonds for the extra sparkle, and because she deserves it 💅
Inspired by some rings of my collection, I crafted these 2 for the special occasion ✨
I love when my customers are very involved in this process, it gives the jewelry so much more meaning...
I loved making these rings, he loved the results and I think she will be sooo happy to receive them ❤️‍🔥

How not to love this craft... Thank you L for the trust 🫶

Born from old jewelry and my client's beautiful fancy cut, color changing Sapphire ✨
She had the design in mind and the materials, I lent my hands and my flame 👩‍🏭
This piece has been quite challenging to create. Not because of the design but the gold seems to have some impurities which makes it crack all the time. It happens sometimes when melting all kinds of jewelry together. More often with white gold so I was surprised, but I was invested and not going to give up on my client's dream ring!
And it worked out ✨💪
A beautiful timeless ring, a happy customer and her young daughter already asking to get the ring later 😆

Love my job!

Thank you for the trust O ❤️‍🔥
